The Jew and Gentile question:
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. Galatians 3: 8-9 KJV
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. Galatians 3:16 KJV
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28 KJV
God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets, Has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; Hebrews 1:1-2 NKJV
Let me be very clear. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are to love all men and desire all to come to a saving knowledge of Christ. No matter what ethnicity you claim, Jesus loves you and died for you.
In the Western church, there is much confusion, deception, and division over the Jew and Gentile question and modern day Israel. The scriptures above, along with many others, clearly state that with the coming of Jesus Christ, all divisions amongst Jew and Gentile have been dissolved. In Christ, we are one. There are now only two groups of people. Those who have confessed their sins and have accepted Jesus as the atonement for those sins, by their faith and obedience, and those who have not. You may claim Jew and or Gentile heritage, but Jesus Christ and your relationship to Him holds absolute preeminence.
All the promises to Abraham will be fulfilled in and through Christ, not through the modern political state of Israel. He may use them, as He does any nation for His purposes, but The kingdom of Heaven and the kingdoms of this world are not the same. Jesus made that delineation clear.
Place all of your focus, devotion, energy, and love on Jesus. Lay down your life as a living sacrifice to the King of Kings.
