Greetings in The Name of Jesus Christ, The True Vine,
Promises
” But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8 NKJV
Do you have power and are you witnessing?
‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. Acts 2:17 NKJV
We are in the last days. The Word of God is true. Our Father in Heaven is speaking by prophecy, by visions, and by dreams.
I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Acts 2:19a NKJV
Get ready !
And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’ Acts 2:21 NKJV
There are no exceptions. If you call, He will save.
Then Peter said to them, ” Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. ” For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call. ” Acts 2:38-39 NKJV
John the Baptist, Jesus Christ, and now Peter, all begin their public ministry with the word ” Repent. ” Repentance is the gate to eternal life. If you are reading this letter and you are not born-again, please refer to the home page of this blog for repentance’s role in salvation.
” Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, Acts 3:19 NKJV
There is that word repent again. Are you experiencing times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord?
” To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.” Acts 3:26 NKJV
Jesus blesses us and turns us away from our sins. Jesus has done, is doing, and will do everything He has promised.
” how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Sprit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38 NKJV
As followers of Christ, this verse should be our ministry statement. Anointed with the Holy Spirit and power, we go about doing good, healing those oppressed by the devil.
He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 NKJV
