Greetings in The Name of Jesus Christ, God in the flesh,
Troubleshooting
At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed. Mark 1:32 NKJV
” And these signs will follow those who believe; In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; Mark 16:17 NKJV
And the evil spirit answered and said, ” Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you? ” Acts 19:15 NKJV
to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:10 NKJV
For they are the spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Revelation 16:14 NKJV
We can clearly draw from these and other New Testament scriptures the following conclusions about demons. They are real. They are enemies and are to be removed. They are an ongoing problem, even to the very end.
The words ” demon-possessed ” bring Hollywood images to the minds of most modern christians. In the Greek, a more proper definition of demon- possessed is demonized: to be under the oppression and influence of demonic spirits. Remember, we are three-part beings, spirit, soul, and body. Demonic spirits can attach to and influence any or all portions of the human being. A human being under the dominion of demons in all three areas is truly demon-possessed. The Gadarene man in Mark chapter five is an example of a human being totally under the control of demonic spirits. There are many less obvious levels of demonic infiltration.
Even after the willful fall of man, God in His mercy placed safeguards around humans to protect them from unclean spirits. It was never God’s will for humans to be under the influence of these unclean ones. Please note, as we approach the end of this age we are seeing a pronounced uptick in dark entity activity.
Demons cannot enter a human at their discretion. There are three primary avenues of entry for demonic spirits. 1. personal disobedience to The Father’s will and commandments. A single act of disobedience or the continued willful rebellion, in a particular area, can both lead to infiltration and the establishment of demonic presence. 2. the passing down of generational sins and demonic spirits from sinful ancestors. ( see Exodus 20:5 ) 3. the willful or unwilful cursing and placement of demonic entities on the unsuspecting and the unarmed by servants of Satan. This usually manifests as personal trauma.
Not all sinful behavior leads to demonization. After centuries of human observation, we observe four groups of sins that may open the door for demonic infiltration. This is not an exclusive list. 1. sins of the occult. ( see Deuteronomy 18: 9-14 ) 2. sins involving the worship of other gods and idolatry. ( see Exodus 20: 2-5 ) 3. sexual sin – any sexual relationship outside of God’s designed covenant of marriage. 4. sins of violence.
In our next troubleshooting letter, we will share the good news of deliverance from these dark spirits.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Philemon 1:3 NKJV
