LETTER XXV

Greetings in The Name of Jesus Christ, The Amen,

Troubleshooting

Our second enemy is the world.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life- is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-17 NKJV

The world is a very subtle enemy and is increasing in strength. The advent of electronics and high-speed communication has brought the world to us in ever increasing allurement. Young people are especially vulnerable. Defining what ” the world ” is, can be confusing to young believers. Remember The Garden. Our social systems, finances, technologies, entertainment, education institutions, and governments are almost in entirety, man’s attempts at over-coming the curse of the fall. None of these establishments were in the Father’s perfect plan.

Jesus tells us that Satan is the ruler of this world. Lucifer is the temporary head of this insanity. He is driving the madness.

” I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. John 14:30 NKJV

What is our Heavenly Father’s ultimate verdict on Lucifer’s rule and those who support his efforts?

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 2 Peter 3:10-11 NKJV

God’s kingdom is not of this world. The world is fallen. Jesus Christ introduced us to God’s kingdom.

Jesus answered, ” My kingdom is not of this world… John 18:36a NKJV

Brothers and sisters, we live in this world, but we are not of it.

If you are truly born again and continue to love the world and it’s enticements, your Heavenly Father will discipline you and remove the things you love. There is no other way to deal with this enemy. By an act of your will, you can choose to reject the world and it’s allure or your loving Father will help you.

Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Colossians 4:5 NKJV

your brother in Christ

P.S. Jesus Christ is coming soon.
