Counting the Cost:

Perhaps, in the western church, we should give the following questionnaire before agreeing to baptize a professed new believer in Christ.
Will you give up all of your possessions, if The Lord ask you too?
Will you give up your phone and/ or laptop, if The Lord ask you too?
Will you give up viewing all social media, if The Lord ask you too?
Will you give up all electronic entertainment, if The Lord ask you too?
Will you leave your family, if The Lord ask you too?
Will you give up your friends, if The Lord ask you too?
Will you give up your personal life plans, if The Lord ask you too?
Will you leave your country, if The Lord ask you too?
Will you forgive all who have ever hurt you?
Will you die for The Lord, if He ask you too?
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death. Revelation 12:11 KJV
You cannot profess to be a christian and not be willing to lay everything down as a living sacrifice. You cannot live in the middle. You may not understand this calling at first, but eventually all professing christians must accept or reject the call.
