Promises
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:3 NKJV
We have been blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing in the heavenlies. We should examine our inheritance and appropriate it.
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace Ephesians 1:7 NKJV
We have redemption. We have forgiveness. ( But wait there is more )
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, Ephesians 2:1 NKJV
Remember we died in The Garden. We are in need of resurrection. Jesus Christ is The Resurrection and The Life.
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ ( by grace you have been saved ), Ephesians 2:4-5 NKJV
God has bridged the gap of sin. The bridge is constructed from His side. He is the One who came to our rescue.
and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6-7 NKJV
Did you know that you are already sitting in heavenly places in Jesus? We were crucified with Christ, we were buried with Him, we rose with Him and now we have ascended with Him. We are already there in Father’s eyes.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, Ephesians 2:8 NKJV
Religion has always been about man trying to reach God by self effort. It cannot be done. True Christianity is about a divine relationship initiated by God toward us.
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:13 NKJV
Notice how many times the term, in Christ, with Christ, in Him, or some form of this expression, is used in Ephesians. Christ carries us.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Ephesians 3:20 NKJV
How great and awesome is our Heavenly Father! Memorize this verse.
And the Spirit and the bride say, ” Come!” And let him who hears say, ” Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:17 NKJV
