Greetings in The Name of Jesus Christ, The Hope of Glory
We will occasionally break from our ” Endowments of Christ ” format and address other topics as The Holy Spirit leads. We will also return to our “Promises” sometimes in the future and finish out The New Testament.
Today we will address the topic of “secret societies ” Yes, the world is full of secrets. These societies have been in existence since the rebellion of Nimrod ( see Genesis 11) and perhaps even earlier. The very name “secret” should give us a clear understanding as to their source and nature.
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5 NKJV
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Ephesians 5:11-13 NKJV
There are only two kingdoms operating in the world, The Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. There are no in between kingdoms. By your actions, you are either serving God or you are serving satan.
The scriptures are very clear in regards to hidden darkness. Read the book of Jude. If you are participating in secret societies or secret organizations and believe it is innocent, answer the following questions.
1.Did you have to swear an oath to be part of this organization?
” But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne; ” nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. ” Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. ” But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. Matthew 5:34-37 NKJV
The Son of God spoke these words. Read very carefully verse 37.
2. Are you witness to any activities in this hidden society that you would not want others to know about?
” For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoke in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops. Luke 12:2-3 NKJV
All will come to light.
3. Are you aware of what the leadership believe and practice at the highest levels of your organization? Our spiritual enemies never show us the end of our enticements. We are drawn in by seemingly innocent participations. Read Ezekiel chapter 8.
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light. Ephesians 5:8 NKJV
