Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, our Merciful High Priest,
We will take a break from our “Troubleshooting-Promises” format and begin to look, in detail, at what Christ has done for us through His life, death, resurrection, ascension, and current presence at the right hand of Father. We are strangely ignorant concerning all that Christ has done for us. In some ways, these are promises. We will call them The Endowments of Christ. As we view these endowments, it will become apparent that we have grossly under emphasized the accomplishments of Christ for you and me. Please note that some of the endowments are repeated in The Scriptures. They appear at times in different word formats as The Holy Spirit dictates.
The Endowments of Christ:
Jesus made me. John 1:3
Jesus gives me light. John 1:9
Jesus has given me the authority to be a child of God. John 1:12
Jesus takes away my sin. John 1:29
Jesus baptizes me with the Holy Spirit. John 1:33
Jesus gives me the opportunity to not perish but have eternal life. John 3:15
Jesus saves me. John 3:17
Jesus delivers me from condemnation. John 3:18
Jesus gives me living water. John 4:10
Jesus gives me water that will become, in me, a fountain of living water, springing into everlasting life. John 4:14
Jesus gives me life. John 5:21
Jesus gives me passage from death to life. John 5:24
Jesus gives me food that will endure unto eternal life. John 6:27
Jesus removes my hunger and thirst. John 6:35
