Our fifth and final root cause, for the current outbreak of fear, worry, and anxiety among believers, is the end-time descent of dark powers into the realm of men.
The Bible speaks of a time, in the last days, when the veil between the physical and spiritual will be thinned and the powers of darkness will manifest into our sense realm. This manifestation will produce unprecedented fear and anxiety. It is the belief of many discerners that this season of darkness has begun.
This descent is by God’s permission and cannot be arrested. The prophetic Word of God will come to pass. His children must walk as they have been taught and rely upon God’s final promise of deliverance. Even in this outpouring of evil, the promises of God , for His children, remain firm.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you maybe able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:13 NKJV
