As with Paul, so with us. This is our calling.
who ” will render to each one according to his deeds ” : eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; Romans 2:6-7 NKJV
How beautiful is the phrase, “patient continuance.” We are saved by grace but that birth cannot be separated from ” patient continuance.” The result is glory, honor, and immortality.
being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, Romans 3:24 NKJV
All that we are and have are in Jesus Christ.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 5:1 NKJV
Christ has made peace for us with our Holy Father.
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 NKJV
We do not come to the Father by works of self righteousness. He comes to us, as sinners, with an extension of grace.
For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) Romans 5:17 NKJV
Are you reigning in this life or is life ” raining” on you? We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. We are thermostats not thermometers.
But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good. 2 Thessalonians 3:13 NKJV
