Greetings in The Name of Jesus Christ, The Wisdom of God,
Troubleshooting
In letters past, we addressed the eye and the ear gate and then took a brief detour. We will now return to our discussion of the sensory gate ways. Today we will begin our examination of the touching gate.
It should not come as a surprise to believers, that sin and spiritual contamination can enter through the sense of touching. The most obvious example is sexual sin. Our loving Father created the sexual experience to bless a man and woman who are united in a lifetime covenant relationship. All sexual encounters outside of this are sin. The scriptures are very clear.
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11 NKJV
Here, and in many other places, The Holy Word identifies different types of sins and additionally different types of sexual sins. As born again believers, we were at one time guilty of some or all of these sins. We are now clean. Let us not return.
If you have committed sexual sin, God offers forgiveness and mercy. We must confess our sexual sin, repent of our sexual sin, and we must ask for forgiveness. Because sexual sin is also a doorway to spiritual contamination, we also need to rebuke any unclean spirits that may have attached. Simply command these spirits, out loud, to leave in Jesus’s Name. If you have joined with another person sexually who is not your covenant husband or wife, you need to ask Father to break any soul, body, or spiritual ties with that person. He will.
If you feel the need for additional help in this arena, ask The Holy Spirit to guide you to one of the many ministries that offer assistance in this area.
Abstain from every form of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:22 NKJV
