We will take a brief reprieve from our study of sensory gateways.

” You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. John 8:44 NKJV
And Jesus answered and said to them: ” Take heed that no one deceives you. Matthew 24:4 NKJV
The scriptures clearly reveal that Satan is the temporary god of this world. The Holy Word also states that Satan is the father of lies and there is no truth in him. These two truths, taken together, reveal the nature of reality in our world system. Almost all outside stimuli, permeating our daily reality, is deception.
The large majority of professing believers are not aware of the extent of this deception. This deceit diffuses through academia, media, entertainment, medicine, finance, politics, science, literature and “the church system.” ( Note: From this point on in the blog, I will make a clear delineation between the church and ‘ the church system.’ The real church is the remnant group of true believers and ‘the church system’ is the entity, in our society, that is proclaimed to be the church.)
As a believer, if you are spending more time ingesting the electronic stimuli produced by the world as opposed to spending time in The Word, prayer and the presentations of Spirit-led servants of Christ, then you are being deceived at some level. It is imperative to immediately break these chains of disinformation.
How does one break free from deception? 1. Make sure you have gone through a thorough spiritual cleansing. ( See previous letters on this subject) 2. Confess all known sin and verbally repent. 3. Read and memorize the Word of God. To counteract a counterfeit, you must be intimate with The Truth. 4. Flee from the enticements of this world. This will require discernment in regards to what enters your sensory gateways. 5. Be filled with and led by The Holy Spirit. 6. Daily put on the armor of God. 7. Pray without ceasing about all things.
The Bible foretells that this deception will increase and grow darker as we approach the end of days. Those days are here.
