Greetings in The Name of Jesus Christ, The Door,
Promises
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. ” For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 NKJV
Some so called scholars, for centuries, have tried to teach us that certain promises of The Bible are not meant to be taken literally. These “men of intelligence” condescendingly explain that we are taking verses and promises out of context. Now, context is important. In most promises, however, God is simply offering His children a glimpse into His available bounty. These verses are meant to be taken as is.
” If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:11 NKJV
Do we really think that we are better parents than our Heavenly Father? God is always ready to out give us. Ask.
” Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock: Matthew 7:24 NKJV
Build your life on the sure foundation of God’s Word and your house cannot be moved.
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:17 NKJV
your brother in Christ
P.S. Jesus Christ is coming soon
