Promises
” that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. ” Matthew 6:4 NKJV
” But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6 NKJV
” so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:18 NKJV
Your Heavenly Father resides in the secret place. When we do our work, prayer, and fasting in secret, without the knowledge of men, The Lord will reward us openly. He said it.
” For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15 NKJV
This is a promise and a warning; A very strong word from The Lord!
” Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Matthew 6:30 NKJV
Jesus is very matter of fact here, O you of little faith!
” But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 NKJV
Seeking God’s kingdom and yielding our members to righteousness, results in God supplying our food , drink, and clothes, when we ask.
He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 NKJV
