It is those who are broken in spirit that will inherit the kingdom of heaven. If you are not bowed down, you will not look up.
Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4 NKJV
It is through many tears that most come to Christ. He is the ultimate Comfort.
Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5 NKJV
To be first, you must be last.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6 NKJV
Are there any left among us who long for holiness?
Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. Matthew 5:7 NKJV
Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. Matthew 5:8 NKJV
God requires total, untainted honesty, from the depths of our being. It is these pure ones that will be allowed intimacy.
Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called the sons of God. Matthew 5:9 NKJV
Are you a stirrer up of trouble?
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:10 NKJV
Although we have not joined our brothers and sisters around the globe in the shedding of blood, for those who are walking righteously, persecution has begun in The West.
” Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. ” Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5 :11-12 NKJV
